Dr. Kathy Bloomgarden is the CEO of Ruder Finn, a leading global communications and marketing agency. With a forward-thinking approach, Bloomgarden has built an agency for the future. She has built rf.techlab, one of the industry’s most dynamic in-house tech labs, that specializes in developing solutions that help brands leverage emerging technologies in data science, modeling, machine learning, AI, and more to solve complex business challenges. Bloomgarden spearheaded the agency’s operations in China in 1989 and has since expanded Ruder Finn’s global presence to an extended network of offices and dedicated affiliates across North America, Asia, EMEA, and Latin America. Today, Ruder Finn has 14 offices across the Asia Pacific region. Ruder Finn Asia has been named Best Agency in Asia-Pacific by PRWeek and secured 18 #1 Rankings. Bloomgarden has worked with many of China’s largest companies supporting their efforts in the US market. She authored “Trust: The Secret Weapon of Effective Business Leaders” and holds B.A. in French from Brown University and a M.A. in Political Science and Chinese from Columbia University.
